I am a seasoned EA renter for WDW, but I'm having trouble making the transition to Calif/DL. We are flying into San Francisco, but we do not plan to pick up our rental until we leave Frisco. So the EA service at SF airport is not useful unless I was to taxi back to the airport to pick up the rental. I found a National place on O'Farrell St. in Frisco and plan to get the car there. But then I have to rent the size I really want, as opposed to EA.
Then we are driving down to DL, stopping along the way--Muir Woods, Hearst Castle, Legoland etc. I planned on keeping the car at DL so that we can drive to the John Wayne airport, where we are departing. But info from these Bds. have made me question keeping the car at DL. National gave me an address in Anaheim where I can drop off the car, but they couldn't tell me if it was close to DL.
The rental for a full size car from Frisco to John Wayne is over $200. I'm using Disney Club as contract # and a $10 off coupon. The Disney Club one free day coupon would not work for a one-way rental.
PLEASE HELP -insights and comments are greatly appreciated!

if my memory serves me correctly...

there is a national car agency on katella street which is just a little ways from harbor blvd....not far from the disneyland resort hotels...and definately in the "upgraded" area around disneyland...

You are right, lawgs! The address that National gave me was on Katella. This now makes it a tough call. Do we get a weekly rental (I'll check this, but it seems anything over 3-4 days makes it more economical to get a weekly) leaving Frisco and use it for less than a week, to turn it in "near" DL? Or do we hold onto the car for the week, trying to avoid paying to park, just to save the cab fare to John Wayne airport (which I chose because it is supposed to be more convenient than LAX)
