I got chicken breasts from Stop & Shop on Rt. 9 today. When I opened the package up the whole kitchen smelled like rotten eggs. The chicken was spoilt. I returned the chicken and talked to the manager, but I wanted to let you all know....be careful of the chix from Stop and Shop!!!

Same thing goes for Shaw's. It's happened twice to me there and when I returned it the woman at the service desk said I am not the only one, it happens all the time.

I live in Florida and it happend to me twice!! (Publix) I was so mad since I was planning on it for dinner!!

I dont buy meat from stop and shop any more, more than once I have recieved bad meat. I also saw a news report last week stop and shop had recalled their hamburger.


I now go to a local butcher. I dont take any chances when it come to buying meat.
