I'm so anxious! We are supposed to fly out of Halifax on Saturday and now there is a storm brewing! I have never been cancelled before and I hope that doesn't happen this time. When you wait what seems like forever since our last visit to Disney (well, a year, :) lol), you don't want to lose even part of a day. Please send me some pixie dust so that our flight will leave on time! Thanks for listening to an anxious traveller.

It looks like it might not start until well after you're on the way. I know how you feel. Every time we go it seems as though we're racing to get ahead of a storm. Our first trip to WDW was the day the Storm of the Century hit all along the eastern seaboard. Even WDW was hit. But we managed to get out, although my husband still beefs about my refusal to take advantage of the overbooked offers from Delta when we changed planes in Boston. LOL I knew that storm was coming and nothing was standing between me and Disney. Who knew when we would be able to get out once the storm had gone by? It'll be fine but think of us poor souls back home dealing with the shovels while you're walking through the gates of the Magic Kingdom. Have a great trip!!!

Start calling your airline tomorrow at lunch:)

If you're flying on AirCanada, they'll put you through to YYZ, YOW or YUL tomorrow night, and then connect you through to MCO on Saturday...then quickety quick, call a TA and get an airport hotel rate for wherever you think you'll be flying through. Generally, you can put a hold on a room that will expire at 6pm without a cc hold. The airlines will have made decisions by then - you'll be able to call and book the room, or call and cancel it.

If AC has made the call to reroute passengers, you won't be assessed change fees. If they haven't made that decision yet, ask the CSR to make a note on your file that you had called and requested a change already....and then keep calling every hour or so:)

If you were planning on staying at the Airport Hotel tomorrow night, you can still leave your vehicle there:) But get there early, because the lot was pretty crowded last week with NB license plates!!LOL!

Have FUN!!! We'll be thinking of you!!!:)

I know how you feel SpashMom. I always get nervous that the weather will interfere when we travel during the winter.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for a safe trip! Have a great time at WDW!
