Nassau shopping

My wife and I went on the DCL 7 day eastern cruise last May. We had a fun time looking for some new jewelry in St. Thomas. She found a tanzanite ring setting and loves it.

Does Nassau have any bargains on jewelry? How are the liquor prices? Are you allowed to bring liquor back on the ship? I forget.

I personally was underwhelmed by the jewelry prices. The Movados weren't bad but most of it was more then what I can get it for locally or online. It might be good for an area with a higher standard of living then mine.
If I remeber correctly you can bring back 1 liter of anything and 1 liter of bahamas made booze per person. We just went with flavored rum across the board.
