Nassau Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville

Has anyone been to or knows anyone who has been to the new Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville in Nassau? If so how was the food/drinks/service? What would you recommend? And how much would a taxi cost to get there and back?

I haven't been, but the website has a handful of pictures up. It appears to be all open air, with a thatched roof. The pool is rather small with no slide. I will definitely be visiting.

We went on our 12/4-12/11 cruise and were some of their first customers! I spotted the sign coming over the brigde to Atlantis and a group of us went before heading back to the boat. They had some kinks to work out. The bathrooms were not completed. Still had contractors working. Everything was new to everyone. We had 8 people in our group and had about 8 waiters and waitresses. I can't remember how many times we ordered drinks. Everything came out hot and delicious, though!

Funny thing, since it was their first day open, cab drivers had NO clue where it was! Conceirge at Atlantis had to come and give directions to the driver.

We have never gotten off the boat in Nassau but are thinking about trying this next month. I think I had read somewhere there is a water taxi that takes you right to the dock near the restaurant- would that be faster/easier than a regular cab?

A water taxi sounds fun I wonder if they do have that. we set sail in a few weeks so I am hoping for more information soon.
