Nassau Jewelry shopping

This is my first time to Nassau and I've heard that you can get some good deals on jewelry there. Does anyone know of a good place to buy jewelry in Nassau?

There are Lots of places on the Main Strip that have good deals. What you need to find out is what shops are Guaranteed. I am sorry it has been awhile since we have been to Nassau so maybe someone else has that info, if not they will give it to you on the ship. Basically the better shops have Guarantees that if you are not satisfied, have buyers remorse, or you get home and your own jewler tells you that it is not real... you can return it, they have a phone number to call through the cruise line and they will take care of it for you. We have bought many things in Nassau and never had a problem but it is good to know that the store is on the up and up with an option like that

I wish I could think of the name. But it is across the street and to the left a bit from the little market/station you walk in and out of to get back to DCL. I purchased two pieces of silver. One was an amber inlay (sp?). Very nice and an excellent price.

DCL has a shopping demonstration embarkation day that I would reccommend going to. The CM will review different stores, and highlight specials they are having, mainly on jewelry or watches. They then destribute a map, and the CM gives you drections to certain stores. All the stores on the DCL map are guaranteed stores, so they are essentially backed by DCL so to speak.

I'm not big into shopping and the DW is not much into jewelry but we did the shopping demo,, (in the small theater) our first cruise and it was well worth it. We ended up with two pair of cheap but nice pearl ear rings with the purchase of one nicer pair,, all for under $40,, with a coupon from the demo. DW kept two pair and gave one away.
