We just got back from our cruise, and we did go to the Atlantis. First of all we took a water taxi for $3 each way per person....advise...Dont do it!!! They overload the boat and they drop you off a little too far away from the hotel. Theres a lot of consturction going on and you have to go out of your way to get there. I got sick on the way over and practically sprinted there, after I felt better we headed back....via taxi. It cost $8 one way for the two of us, and we would have paid twice that! So save yourself some walking and take a taxi. We ended up giving our return water taxi tickets to some young kids. DOnt be afraid to take a taxi, we were fine.
The Atlantis is cool, but I wasn't really in the mood to see it the way I felt. on a good day it would have been neat. But to be honest, I didnt' think much of Nassau. We took a buggy ride and i guess that was ok, but what a dumpy place. I bought one bag at the market. My daughter and her husband went off by themselves, when they got back, she had bought a bag too....the same one!!! There must have been a hundred different bags...too funny.
