What kind of rates have you gotten on SW from BNA to MCO in the last few months? Was your rate through a DING or just off the website? Trying to see what will be a reasonable rate so I know when to buy when the new schedule is released.

Maybe I am missing something, but the cheapest I am seeing for October from BNA is actually with delta. I'll go back and check SW though. Ok just did and i can't do october yet. Using similar days in august, I still save about 20 going with delta. Is there some type of alert system with SW to subscribe to like fare watcher?

The lowest fare I've gotten in the last 9 months or so has been $55 each way and the highest was $89. I've booked DINGs in the past, but often the Wanna Get Away fares are just as good. Couple of things to keep in mind with Delta...if you're going to check luggage, it's $23 for the first bag and Delta doesn't have a non-stop flight from Nashville to Orlando. SWA is the only airline with non-stop from BNA to MCO.

We got $73 Saturday. No ding, just happened to check the website.

Does anyone know when SW will post their flights for october? They are only up through august right now, so would that not be until april? (6 mos)

The SW website says their schedule will open up on March 23, but it says to check back often, as that date is subject to change.

As I have been looking through the posts about SW, is it true that you don't get a "refund" but just a credit towards your next booking. I have seen several people say they book the trip down and then wait and book home later. This way they can apply the credit to that purchase. I have ding on the computer now and am also checking.. are these typically done for about 3 months out. IN otherwords, the May ones just came out in the last week. So would october's be released mid august?:surfweb:

Unless you pay for a refundable fare, you only get a credit for future use. Don't forget that there is a time frame to use the credit, I believe it is a year. I booked Feb 23 for April 24, so in theory August should be when deals are released for October.
