I had a fun, hot, great, crowded, wonderful, hot (did I say hot?) week at WDW. I'm back and ready to cross my fingers and hope my defaults pull through for me.

Other than the fact Jimmy coming in 22nd screwed up my score I thought it was great. I hate it when they just conserve gas to win a race. Race to the finish or you don't deserve to win.

I think there is a time and place for both. Johnson is firmly within the top 12. He could afford to take the chance, and duke it out with Biffle. Martin was is 13th at the beginning of the race. He was racing for points, and just lucked out by the misfortune of the other 2.
Martin is also famous for lurking, and jumping out at the appropriate time. He was smart to sit back, conserve his gas, and let the leaders screw up. I have a feeling that if the gas thing wasn't a factor, they would have wrecked one another.
While I agree, it is much more fun to watch them battle it out, I can appreciate the strategy involved. It's got to be about the points.
