The 13th race of the 2023 season is the "Goodyear 400" at Darlington Raceway on SUNDAY, May 14th.

Darlington Raceway is a 4 turn egg shaped oval with a lap distance of 1.366 miles. 293 las are scheduled for a race distance of 400.2 miles.

The land for this track was purchased from a farmer in 1950. One end of the track is narrower than the other to avoid upsetting the farmer's minnow pond. This gave Darlington its unique shape.

There were no races held here from 2005 through 2019. The history is retty short for active drivers. #22 is the defending champion. Other winners are the #19, the #11 and the #4.
