The start of the second half of the 2009 season finds us at ChicagoLand Speedway for the "Lifelock.com 400".
This track is in Joliet, Illinois and will run on SATURDAY, July 11th!
Qualifying is set for THURSDAY July 9th, so please get your picks in by the start of qualifying!
This is the 19th race of the 36 race season and NASCAR races here but once a year.
Chicagoland Speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 1.50 miles.
The racers will circle the track 267 times for a total race distance of 401 miles.
#14 T Stewart and #29 K Harvick share the honor for the most wins here since 1975. They each have 2 wins.
More recent history:
In 7/08, #18 Kyle Busch led from start to finish.
In 7/07, C Mears turned in the fastest qualifying time in a race won by #14 T Stewart.
In 7/06, #31 J Burton grabbed the pole and #24 J Gordon grabbed the checkered flag.
In 7/05, #48 J Johnson was 1st to start and #88 JR was first period.
