NASCAR Fans - Silly Season Rumors and Facts (1/18 today's practice speeds page3)

:rotfl: His four championships from Santa - too funny ;) I'm disappointed that Jeff doesn't believe in Santa but then what do you expect from a bachelor with no kids - bet a lot of drivers don't believe.

Moo, glad you found us. Slowly but surely everyone is making their way back and I have to admit that I've missed you folks. Will be starting the practice thread for the Bud Shoot out in about another week, been forcing myself to wait until it gets closer. Looks like we might even get some new folks to join us this year...Can't wait :)

Oh Jeffy boy, there most certainly is a Santa! He even came to my house to visit my children. Here he is with my almost 1 yo DD. And, how else do you explain his 4 Winston Cup championships other than gifts from Santa!!! :confused3 ;)

Your DD is beautiful. Funny about the 4 championships. :)

I'll tell you what. Nothing would make me happier. I could really use a racefest in about 2 weeks! But we will enjoy it from the couch here at home, green with envy, wishing we were there! :flower:

Sorry- I could have saved a seat for everyone. Would have been a great DIS meet!!! I'll wave at the Speedway for you as I pass by on my way to work tomorrow AM.

Who is good at planning??? How about the weekend in March that is the Bristol race??? 2006????

This would be to watch the race, it would be a looooong commute :rotfl2:

Well my spoin sport husband just put the kaibash (spelling?) to that.

He said "no, we probably can't watch the race at WDW".

I said "why not"? He said;

"Because the Disney resorts don't show those channels"

Waaaah :badpc:

OK... better yet... everyone do the WDW thing during the week, then on the weekend, we have the DIS Meet at "Racings North Turn" on the beach in Daytona... the ORIGINAL "north turn" of the race... great place to watch the race on the big screen and enjoy our beautiful Florida weather!!!

DH and I watched the race Kevin Harvick won after Dale Sr.'s death at NASCAR Cafe on City Walk, Universal Studios. It was really cool. They have alot of t.v.'s all showing the race and when the race was over the whole restaurant started clapping. We had a good time.

I was just going to mention the NASCAR Cafe. LOL!! I think that would be the next best place to watch the race if you couldn't go to the race track.

We don't need no stinkin' tvs....we've got XM radio! :)

Adam -- your DD is so cute!!!!!!

Ginny

Yeah! XM Radio :cool1: AND NASCAR Cafe!! :cool1: And "Racings North Turn" :cool1:
