From the Sentinel. Of course, very subject to change, but something to keep in mind if you will be in the area anyway.

Feb. 15 – NASA’s THEMIS satellites are scheduled to launch aboard a Delta 2 rocket on a mission to study Earth’s magnetosphere.

March 16 – Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to launch on a mission to install another set of power-producing solar arrays on the international space station.

June 21 – NASA’s Dawn spacecraft is scheduled to launch aboard a Delta 2 rocket on a mission to visit a pair of asteroids.

June 28 – Shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to launch on a mission to add a section of structural truss to the station. The flight also will carry to orbit Educator Astronaut Barbara Morgan.

Aug. 3 – NASA’s Phoenix spacecraft is scheduled to launch aboard a Delta 2 rocket on a mission to land near Mars’ north pole.

Sept. 7 – Shuttle Atlantis is scheduled to launch on a mission to add a passageway for future laboratory modules to the station.

Nov. 5 – Shuttle Discovery is scheduled to launch on a mission to add Europe’s Columbus science lab to the station.
