NAS strikes again!

I picked up a used lens on Ebay which means I can finally join the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 club!!!!!!
The housing is a little beat up, but the seller was upfront about that, and I don't think it's even as bad as he indicated. The glass looks great and the few around-the-house test shots I took last night indicate much fun in my future. Best of all, I paid less than half the price of a new one.

My kids were underwhelmed and my husband merely commented that it was little and came with a hood which must make me happy.
I know I can find enthusiasm here!

I think I will definately use it for indoor events...birthday parties, restaurants, places I don't want to drag out the big flash. Once I make it back to WDW, I'll give it a try on dark rides too. I don't know that I will use it for portraits. I have the 24-70 2.8 for that and I'm really happy with it, but I will force a mini session on my kids to see what I think. I like what I've seen from other posters here.

Nice! I love my Sigma 30 and it's still my favorite lens, although the Nikon 85/1.8 is slowly becoming a contender for that spot.

I thought about that! Is it *really* NAS if it's a sigma product? Then I decided that yes, the Nikon mount made it qualify.
