I voted for the first one and I love the suggestion of a pale yellow wall with it.

But then again, I detest pink. It actually makes me cringe. It's why we went with sage green and Classic Pooh neutral yet nursery-like and best of all - no pink anywhere!:thumbsup2

I would go with #1, but I would go with a pale yellow wall. I would rather add pink accents on the wall with picture frames, etc....

It looks like most would go with the green but do the walls in yellow. One problem, I hate yellow walls and pink is my favorite color. I don't know why, I just do. Maybe I can make it work. It just seems way to gender nuetral to me if I do yellow and green.

I don't care much about the kid growing out of it or anything like that, I am a person who likes to redecorate a lot so painting again in a couple of years is not going to bother me.

Then, of course, you do what you like (love).

I had pale yellow walls in my room as a baby and young child (til about K or 1st grade, then purple!!!:eek::headache: now, haha) Anyway, I always hated the yellow also. To this day I would never paint a room a baby shade of yellow. More bold, maize colored, maybe, but not pale yellow. Just a preference.

Go with what you love. I just think that pink bedding is absolutely beautiful and would make a nice keepsake for your daughter someday. I like the green less for that reason too.

I'm doing my guest room's walls tan with a bedspread that is pink, white and green. I am accenting with pink and white mostly. Tan walls would be too neutral for the baby's room but the combo is very crisp and pretty. :)
Keep us posted on your choice and again, good luck with the pregnancy and baby!!

If pink is your favorite color then go for it! Most of us with the yellow walls seem to hate pink. If you love it, then go for the pink!

You have to look at it everyday, not us. Go for what you love!

I like the green bedding best. I agree with the thought of a nice soft yellow on the top portion of the walls. The baby will likley be dressed in lots of pink. I know when my daughter was a baby I often dressed her in pink. Have fun choosing! :)

I voted for the first choice ;and, if I may say so, I prefer these options to the other poll choices you had- I saw the Kidsline bedding in BRU the other day and thought of your poll. It was super cute in the pics but not nearly as cute in person, I thought.

Anyway, I'd do the green bedding becuase I think the designs on it are much easier on the eyes than on the pink version. I love the idea of a yellow wall, but if you aren't into it, a very light pink would be lovely, maybe you could paint some matching flowers on the wall?

Thanks! I ordered a couple of them and was so disappointed when they arrived and they were not nearly as cute in person. :sad1: So back they went and I saw these two at PBK when I was there looking for something else. Normally I am not a huge fan of PBK bedding but I liked these two.

My daughter has PBK bedding, and you won't be disappointed with the quality, plus- and this is a weird thing to say, but- it holds its resale value. PBK bedding sells well on ebay, so when your DD is done with it and out of her crib/toddler bed, you can sell it if you like. I realize a lot of people keep it in case they have another child, but I like to decorate and would do a new room for each child, so resale was important to me. Anyway, both choices are lovely and will look great.
