narrowed down to 4 suite hotels, which one??

Hi,

5 of us are heading to DL in may, We need to stay at a 2 room hotel so we can have our privacy and the kids can be in the other room. We are staying 5 nights, so price is an issue.

I have it narrowed down to

Castle inn ( 1 King, 2 queens at $134)

Peacock suites ( 1 king, sofa bed in other room $149)

Comfort Inn maingate (2 queens, bunks, 2 bathrooms $102)

Islander Inn (1 qeen, 2 doubles $103)

We would like walking distance to park ( 2 year old, and 5 year old) and decent accommedations. Nice pool is a plus.

Where would you stay and why?

Id go fpr the one with bunk beds, just because my kids loved it so much! I think my ds thought they were just as cool as dl! (BTW we stayed at La Quinta Inn and suites-loved it!)

Castle Inn is the only one you mentioned that is within walking distance, and that is a little on the far side IMO. But Desert Inn and Suites, Carousel Inn and Suites, and Tropicana Inn and Suites is right across the street and they have all had fairly good reviews.

Try the Desert Inn and Suites. Not to confuse you even more but they have GREAT prices and are right across from the crosswalk! We stay there alot!

We haven't stayed there yet, but it's had great reviews... the rooms look HUGE. (we have a family suite) the camelot. Used to park inn I think.

Not what you asked....but IMO walking distance is worth it's weight in gold.

If you choose one NOT within walking distance, tack on $10 confused3 ) a day for parking. Not to mention half hour commute to/from the parking structure, and the hassle of the tram.

I'm a fan of Desert Inn and Suites, and we're at the Carousel in March. Any reason neither made your list?

Of the ones you list, I would say Castle Inn. Peacock is way over by the freeway and you need a shuttle. I am not familiar with the others you mentioned. You left off several suite options that are right across the street from the park and do not require a shuttle: BW Park Place Inn & mini suites, Carousel Inn & Suites, and Camelot Inn & suites.
