Here's a Link to an article about the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe film that they're filming in New Zealand. It has pictures of the 4 kids playing the central characters. They are Georgie Henley, 9, from London, who plays the lead character Lucy; Skandar Keynes, 12, also from London, who plays Edmund; Anna Popplewell, 15, from West Yorkshire, who plays Susan; and William Moseley, 17, from Gloucestershire, who plays the eldest brother Peter.

Also involved in the film are Tilda Swinton (the White Witch), Dawn French (the voice of Mrs Beaver), James McAvoy (Mr Tumnus), Rupert Everett (the voice of The Fox) and James Cosmo (Father Christmas).

Wow, it's like Deja-Vu all over again.

Hmmm, a series of (multi-volume) fantasy epics being shot in New Zealand using English actors.

...Grumble-mumble-grumble...

There is an opportunity for a government grant here. A study needs to be done on just how it is possible that a multi-billion dollar industry supposedly requiring that it's participants be richly endowed with originality and "creativity" has - in reality a membership awash with Lemming-Think the likes of which has never been seen before.
