Narnia screening

I think I made a stupid mistake. I submitted my request and neglected to specify the number of tickets I needed. Granted it's just my husband and I, but still...

I just went to try and send a follow-up email, but Orlando is showing FULL.

:guilty:

So, if I end up with one ticket, guess we'll be drawing straws.

The way the message was written, I dont think we needed to include the # of tickets ( I did see the fine print). Hopefully we all get it!

Good luck to all who submitted their email!

I think they forgot to put that info in the message just like they forgot to include their email address- how else would they know when they are full? I put the number of tix on my request. Good luck everybody

When I checked, Providence was already full too. Oh well. One of these days, I'll get in on one of these.

I think it will only get worse. More and more credit card holders and word spreading faster and faster. For some cities if you don't get an email in within the first 1/2 hour - hour its FULL.

It wasn't that way just a few months ago or when it was Disney club.

The word is spreading big time!

Good luck everyone!

I think I messed this whole thing up AGAIN!!! Last time for Chicken Little I sent the e-mail too soon and didn't receive tickets.

Today I waited patiently and then sent the e-mail with the subject line in mixed up order. I did The Chronicles of Narnia code and then city. I realized too late that I had switched the order. I then sent a new e-mail with the correct order but now I may be disqualified for the duplicate e-mail. I also did not specify the number of tickets that I wanted!

I am doomed never to receive advance screeening tickets!! :badpc:

I guess I'll have to wait and see now.

Joanne,
I don't think it said that it had to be in any particular order. I think it just had to all be there. In fact, I went back (because your post made ME worry I had done it wrong) and what I found was this:

IMPORTANT: The participating city name, movie title and screening code must be included in the Subject Line of your email to qualify. NOTE: The Screening Code can be found at the top of the city list in the column to the right. For example, if you live in or near, Chicago and Chicago is on the list of participating cities, then type The Chronicles of Narnia Chicago NSW27.

As you'll see from their example, they ask for "participating city name, movie title and screening code" but yet when they give a specific example they list the movie name, THEN the city, THEN the code (which is not the order they orginally asked for)

I think it just all has to BE there to qualify.

Darn!

NY is full. I sent it anyway in case some people did not submit their e-mails correctly.

Here is an updated list. Wow - the cities went REALLY fast this time! I hope we got it! I didn't request a number of tickets but was afraid to resubmit and be disqualified. Gotta just play the waiting game now.

I always copy and paste their example and change the city to SF. I didn't put in # needed but in the past, when it was a preview, the invite just specifies up to 4. I think we will all be okay.

full? waiting in Ct- I thought the post said tix for you and 3 others will be given... when I sent in, it wasn't full now it is,oh, here's hoping.... :wizard:

But, of course, since I sent a duplicate e-mail, I probably disqualified myself. It'll be interesting to see who actually gets the tickets. I wish everyone luck!

Joanne

I have never done one of these. I just sent the e-mail and hope to get Indianapolis. For anyone who has done this...I asked for 4 tickets but if I have more people in the family can you buy the other tickets (3 more) or can you just bring the number of people that you have tickets for?

Suz

I missed it too. Send the email anyway.

If anyone gets the email for Detroit and they can't use it, please let me know! Thanks! :goodvibes

This is a pre-screening. No tickets are sold.
Thanks for the quick reply. That was what I was thinking but I was hoping everyone could go. I have to say 'though, I'm just excited to think we might get to see this at a pre-screening! We are going on the New Year's Eve cruise and we were planning on waiting to see it there. How fun to see it twice!!!
