Hi there...is it really ok for me to wear dress shorts and a top (or a skort) and my husband dress shorts and a preppy top for dinner at narcosses? Thanks

We will be there celebrating my 40th bday on Wed. July 23rd

When we were there last year, my DH wore a pair of Docker pants and a sprot shirt with a collar. My DSs age 9 and 6 wore Docker shorts and a collared shirt. I wore a linen crop pant outfit with some jewelry and a pair of dressy sandals. We were just fine.

We have eaten there twice (last time was for Christmas Dinner) and I wore boot cut jeans, sandals (not flip flops) and a casual button up top. DH wore jeans, a polo, and timberland boots. (it was chilly both times) although I saw people wearing shorts, tshirts, and the occasional flip flop. I was stressing pretty bad the first time we ate there, cause I wanted to wear jeans, and finally I said to my DH, im just gonna dress up my jeans and go relaxed! Well, ya know what??? Narcoossee's STILL took our hundred bucks for the meal, and never said nothing about my jeans! :lmao:

I think just go, wear something comfortable, but look nice and enjoy your meal, cause the food there is WONDERFUL! Have a great time!!! :thumbsup2

Absolutely fine.

Happy birthday and bon apetit.

You'll be fine. Hubby and I ate there last November. I wore a dress and he wore khaki pants and a button down shirt. I felt comfortable.

We were disappointed to see a few people show up in jeans and tshirts. They weren't turned away, but I just felt that it would have been nice for them to dress a little nicer.

It's sort of smart casual...I think most people dress like it's a golf outing, just nothing that shows too much skin. PS - try the key lime pie, it's fabulous!
