Narcosses Bar

Hey everyone, just getting set up for my trip in 190 days.

I was looking through Disney's list of restaurants for someplace new to try, and I came across Narcosses bar menu. Has anyone just gone in and sat at the bar for a bite to eat? What is it like? I was thinking it would a perfect night cap to a day at MK, without spending a fortune.

The berry punch is SOOOO good. My DH got the chocolate martini and it was good too. The almond cheesecake is very good.

I wonder how easy it is to get a seat at the bar?? I'm dying to get the almond cheesecake again and can't get ressies.

As I recall, the bar isn't very large.

The bar is not large, but I've found most people sitting there are waiting for their table. DH and I were there a matter of minutes before our table was ready.

You should be able to order off the full menu at the bar. They let us order off the full menu for room service.

It's one of our favorite restaurants. The service and food are fabulous. I really think they'd be very accommodating to whatever you'd like to have while at the bar.

I can't say enough good things about Narcossees (My DW had the hiccups at the bar and the bartender showed her a sure fire way to get rid of them...and it worked). Great bartenders, excellent service, and delicious food. This restaurant is a must.

DM and I came here for the first stop of our Monorail bar tour and never left!!! Bartenders were awesome; we only ordered apps and drinks but saw some others eating dinner. We went in Sept and there were lots of seats open but not sure how it is during the busier times. We were also able to use the verandah to watch the Water Pageant and Wishes! which was awesome!! I would highly recommend at least stopping by after your park day to see if there's any seats available. If not, you still have Mizner's or Citrico's bar or you could walk over to the Poly and try Tambu Lounge or their pool bar.

A little OT, but Territory Lounge at WL is also a great atmosphere with good drinks and food.

The bar area is really cool, it's up higher so you're looking down at the bartender.

We asked last time we were there and anyone can sit at the bar - as the seats are first come first serve.

However, as previously mentioned, some like to sit there waiting for there tables and there aren't a ton of seats.
