who has been here and what can you tell me. if anyone has any pictures they are welcome as well. How difficult is it to get a reservation for a time between the electrical water parade and the fireworks?? Does every seat have a good view for these two things or do most people tend to get up and go to a certain place when these things take place?? Thanks for any information about this, and any reveiws.

Reservations at both Narcoossee's and California Grill are a premium during fireworks time, so I would suggest trying early. Inside Narcoossee's, there are tables by the window with a nice view of the fireworks, however if you are seated in the middle, it may not be as good. I've dined here quite a bit, and I have either always sat at the window, or eaten at the bar without a reservation. In my opinion, its the best restaurant at WDW. The mussels are fantastic, and the surf & turf is always great. Say hi to Charlie, the head bartender, and have him mix you up something:) Enjoy your meal!

Had a not so great experience at Narcoosee's. Server was sullen, and clearly did not want to be working. The food was tepid, and undercooked. Can't say as I'd rush back there again.

Friends of ours did give it a second, third and fourth try. They've finally given up too.

We enjoyed our one and only trip. Went outside for fireworks, but could see the water parade okay from our table (away from the windows around the bar). We had a great server who helped us pick good dishes, nice wine. Going back soon. FWIW.

Most folks get up and go outside to see any fireworks, etc. They have a deck that sort of wraps around the restaurant. Folks go out there and stand, often blocking the views of those inside.

We're not too enthused when it comes to "fireworks" restaurants, they always seem to be a little hectic. We enjoy Flying Fish, Jiko, and Artist Point.

For fireworks, what would be the best time in August for fireworks at California Grill? Are better view, like window requested at time of check in or on reservation? What is the "best seats" for viewing fireworks at
California Grille?

Thank you!

We love Narcoosee's. It can be very loud, but I have found the CG is becoming a madhouse - especially around fireworks time. I agree that most people just go outside on the little porch area when the fireworks begin, so you don't necessarily need a window table to enjoy them. In fact, you may end up getting up yourself, as people may be standing in the way.
