I am trying to plan an anniversary dinner for my parents. It will be our arrival day, we have the dining plan, cast is DF58, DM55, me34, DD15, and DD12. Is this a good choice? I picked it because DF wants lobster. Why? No clue, he never eats it. :teeth: But, lobster he wants, lobster it will be. Is lobster included on the DP? What should we wear? Can I get the GF bakery to deliver a mini wedding cake to our table, or do I have to pick it up from the bakery? Sorry for all the questions, and TIA!

We ate at Narcoosees, on the dining plan, not quite two weeks ago. They do have a surf and turf on the menu and it is on the dining plan. My husband had it.

The food was wonderful, by the way. I had the salmon and it was excellent.

I dont know about the wedding cake. You would want to contact the restaurant well in advance I am sure.

Dress is "business casual." Most ladies the night I was in there were in sweaters and dress shorts or dresses and most men in polos and khaki pants or khaki shorts.

I think it would be. I think you have to keep in mind that it is primarily seafood, so if you have someone in your party who doesnt care for seafood, they may not care for this restaurant. That is the only downside I coudl potentially see.

I feel, and my husband would agree, that it is most certainly worth two TS for us. It is by far one of the best restaurants we have eaten at at WDW. We would eat there again, paying cash or on dining plan, without question.

Here is a link to the menu:

On a sidenote, I just noticed you live in Tulsa. My husbands family live close to there. It is a wonderful area. You are so lucky!

We had the best meal there last August and that's why we are returning there this August. The surf and turf was delicious. We were sorry we didn't order more than one order of the Fried Calamari - it was really good. All four of us (DDs 13 and 10, me and my DH) all love seafood, so it was so worth it for us.

My girls wore those krinkle skirts with plain t-shirts (so they were still comfortable when we went to MK afterwards). I think they wore nice flip-flops (I don't know how they walk in the parks with those!) I wore a skirt and top, also. My husband wore khaki shorts and a polo shirt.

I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Narcoosee's is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is excellent and if you time it right, you can catch the fireworks at MK! They pipe in the music and dim the lights in the restaurant so you can see them. It would be a wonderful choice for an anniversary! If you want to set up something special, contact the restaurant manager. I did this for my sister's wedding anniversary at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. They brought over a bottle of champagne and some Tuxedo Strawberries for them to enjoy. The manager ever set up a table by the window with a rose on it. They were very surprised and said they were treated like celebrities! Good Luck and Happy Anniversary!

Thank you so much for your replies. I am torn between Narcoossee's and CG. We will be there for an early dinner, as this is the only evening that we can catch spectro. I had seen the menu on allears, but having never used the DP before, it is still hard to believe that more expensive things are included. I guess I am still waiting for the "catch". :)
