[the Fidge]

Hey there can anyone inform me if they have dined at Narcoossee's recently? I have reservation's for our first night there to enjoy dining while viewing the fireworks display.

Can you please let me know how it was or if there is a spot to find reviews on this restaurant.

When is your trip? That is going to matter INCREDIBLY to the reviews. There has just been a chef change. The old Chef at Narcooses (before 2-1-05) is now at Citricos and my personal God, Chef Gray, the old Chef of Citricos will be cooking at Narcooses AFTER 3-1-06.

So if you are dining after the 1st of March, the previous reviews would not really apply since there will be a new sherrif in town. If you are dining in the next two weeks, its a crap shoot.

Have not been to Narcoosee's since last August so not sure if that is current enough for you. Over the years we have this resaturant to be very inconsistent. Some years it was great, worth every penny and other years food was not great for the cost and service was just lousy.

Maybe the change will help.

You should be good. I have faith in Chef Gray. He is very talented. If anyone can turn things around, its him. Let us know how your meal is and what you ordered? I'll be there in 14 months! hehehehehe

We ate there on our honeymoon last Oct and it was very pleasant. We unfortunately still haven't finished all our dining reviews ( bad foodies!!) and this is one of them. We had heard about bad service and some food issues on the boards, but we still wanted to give it a try. The food was good and the atmosphere enjoyable. Since it is late I will not go into my typical detailed description, sorry, but here are a few pictures of dinner. We will try and finish our reviews which are LONG overdue.

The taste was much better than the plate presentation on this one!!

I think if you go in with an open mind and no certain expectations you will find this experience to be very enjoyable. Have a great trip

We ate there the other day and I wouldnt say it was my favourite restaurant. The service was not very good but the food was tasty. The view for the fireworks and the pagent was wonderful.
