We (me and 2 16 year olds :crazy2: ) are eating at Narcoossee's for the first time in September. I'm looking for some ideas of what it's like. And, we have an 8:00 dinner ADR, how does Wishes work, if we're still there at that time? Does EVERYONE get up and go our on the dock?

I'm not sure what you mean as far as what it's like - you can see the menu on www.allearsnet.com.
We enjoy the food there, and the view is amazing. If you are there when the fireworks begin, you can either stay at your table, if you are seated with a good view (and if none of the people on the porch outside stand right in front of you), or you can go out onto the porch. The music is piped into the restaurant when the fireworks begin. It's very nice, but the restaurant itself is busy, crowded, and loud.
Cheers!

We really enjoyed our dinner and saw the fireworks from the restaurant. I only saw one couple go outside to watch, but that could have been because it was in December and it was freezing cold and windy. The night we went it wasn’t loud at all and we had a very peaceful and relaxing dinner. We have ADRs for our trip this December.

Three words: ALMOND CRUSTED CHEESECAKE!

That's all you need know.

Those 3 words have been making my DD drool for months now! She can't wait to eat here. I'm more of a creme brulee freak myself, so I'll probably try their key lime creme brulee.

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time we've dined there, I'd say that at least half the restaurant went out on the deck to see the fireworks. Effectively blocking any views from inside.

Just curious... can you hear the music on the viewing deck? We have ADR's in October.

Is it still considered a loud restaurant? I'm considering making reservations elsewhere due to the noise factor. DH and I are taking a vacation w/out our children, we're hoping to find a nice, romantic restaurant.

TIA!

Yes, you can hear the music on the viewing deck, and yes, it is indeed a VERY loud restaurant. If you make your reservations quite late, this might not be a problem. We tend to dine around 8:00 - 8:30ish, and it was always very loud there around that time frame.

Cheers!

Firstly, I m with Stacey and that cheesecake one word: YUMMY!!!! WE dined there once and will also do again for our first night there. I made our ADRS at 830pm in APril. We got up DS and I to stretch our legs he wanted to see the water. Well wi=hile we were out there there was lighted images on floats way cool! Have no idea what its called tohugh!

As to the fireworks, we finished our dinner and they ere begining as we stepped out onto the deck. We noticed there is a dock for the boat launch and asked if we could go ver therer a few staps away. Was not sure if it was only for the guest of the resort. MN is restaurant informed no that we could go over and view from there.

It was great, all the view without alot of noise DS isnt big on the noise. It was the perfect way to begin our magical vacation!

I cannot tell you how lovely it was we all loved it and hope you do too!

Happy Planning and have a great trip!

PS the expediation everest dessert my son sooooo sad it was not as big as the ride!!!!!
hehehe
