Which would you choose? We have people that are just meat eaters and people that are fish eaters / meat eaters in our party, plus two kids. We are on the DDP. Also wondering which restaurant has the better dessert.

TIA :worship:

I'm probably the only person in the world who prefers Narcoossee's to Flying Fish, but I wanted to share my opinion anyway:

We went to both on our last trip (2 weeks ago), and we've been to both several times in the past, and we preferred our meal at Narcoossee's.

The appetizers at both range from pretty good to really good. We preferred our entrees at Narcoossee's (crab-crusted flounder, and whole roasted young chicken with citrus jus) compared to Flying Fish's signature potato-wrapped snapper (it was a bit too heavy and rich). Narcoossee's has whole lobster and surf n' turf that are excellent values on the DDP (although we didn't love the surf n' turf). The desserts at Narcoossee's are amazing, such as the almond-crusted cheesecake and the chocolate mousse dome. Flying Fish's desserts were up and down, with some excellent flavors and some that we didn't have a desire to finish. Finally, Narcoossee's has a beautiful setting on the lagoon, and an excellent fireworks view.

That said, Narcoossee's is my fourth favorite signature and Flying Fish is my fifth favorite, and I would expect very good meals from both.

We love both, but Flying Fish has the edge. Perhaps that's because it's at our home resort (BWV), but still...Narcoossee's is also great, though!

Flying Fish. No contest. Their menu is consistently innovative and interesting, and they have a much better location and ambiance. I was very impressed with my last meal there, and I would tout it as one of the best restaurants on property.

Narcoosee's, on the other hand, is disappointingly mediocre. With its prime location and prestigious home resort, it could and should be so much better than it is. Instead, it is hardly worth its signature level pricing, and it's definitely not worth two table service credits, especially when there are so many better 2 TS options in WDW on which you can dole out those points.

As for your party's dilemma of needing both safe and exciting menu options, Flying Fish definitely has great options for the seafood lovers, but I'm told that the steak option is also very good.

I've dined at both on several occasions. Narcoosees used to be a great place but honestly, I haven't had a stellar meal there since 2001. Even the lobster has been disappointing. The best thing about this restaurant anymore is that it has a beautiful setting.

Flying Fish, although not nearly as good as bluezoo, does offer a nice variety of well executed dishes. They offer wine flights; they have one of the best cheese plates on property. I've had every fish/seafood entree on the menu and I've been happy with each one.

We dined at both last October and Narcoossees was much better in our opinion. Nothing we had at Flying Fish "wow"ed us. The service was good at both but Narcoossees hands down won in the quality of food dept.

i've eaten at both several times and like them both. i give flying fish the edge but that's my taste. i'd say look at the menu for both venues and pick based on where you'll be that day and what your group will like best. i think with a mixed crowd of eaters you may fare better at narcoossee's. just my opinion.

Flying Fish. They have an excellent steak dish, best in WDW, at least to me & their fish is very good. I think their desserts are much better too. We went last trip twice and got different entrees and desserts and were all great. The wait staff is better too, I think. Narcoosees is good too but its not one of my favorite.

Hands down Flying Fish..so much better than Narcoossee's

DH has had the NY Strip at FF three times and each time it is wonderful. The snapper is my favorite but I have enjoyed the scallops and the shrimp dish before..you can sub out sides too which is nice.
