Narcoossee's or Citricos ?

I know opionions vary and service/food can change from day to day but was wanting to take the wife to one special dinner during our August trip and thought about these two. Not quite wanting to do V&A's this trip and have done the CG in the past. We are staying CL at the Poly so I thought a stroll over and a dinner at one of these would be nice. Any opinions/suggestions?

I much, much prefer Citricos! Wonderful food & service and the atmosphere is much quieter than at Narcoossee's.

Agree. And you get to walk BY V&A as you enter the restaurant!!

Another vote for Citricos ... food and atmosphere were much more enjoyable there than at Narcoossees in our opinion.

ok so I disagree I LOVE Narcoosees, and you can see the WIshes fireworks there! Everyone files out on to the deck to watch fireworks and you can see the electrical water parade. Its very romantic! And the food is terrific! The almond crusted cheesecake is delish.

You could try and get your dinner a little earlier, say 730 ish? then after you eat stroll out to teh dock behind it to watch from there.

Agreed!! Citrico's is great but I would tend towards Narcoossee's b/c of the atmosphere and location. Citrico's is more refined for sure, and you'd have to determine which cuisine you want more, but if everything else is equal, I'd go Narcoossee's. Their service has been just as good as Citrico's in our experiences.

Citricos - while the food is very good at both I find Citricos to have a more romantic quiet atmosphere. Narcoosees can get loud with a lot of people dining there to watch the fireworks. Later in the evening it is quieter.

I agree that the food is good at both. For several years we always seemed to have service that was just a bit off at Narcoossee's. But we dined there in March and everything was perfect...service and food. The view is lovely, of course. We also had a great meal at Citricos that trip.

I wish I was dining at either tonight!
