Narcoossee's dress code?

How strict is Narcoossee's about the 'casual business' attire? I just made a PS, and she mentioned the dress code. It's just me and my DD, so I'm not planning on bringing any work clothes! The whole point is for me to *forget* about work!

They try to be "upscale". Basically, except for V&A, any of the Disney restaurants will accept "park casual" as opposed to "park sloppy". Basically this is no swim suits, no cutoffs, no men's muscle shirts. I have gone to Narcoossee's with a Disney T-shirt, jeans shorts and sandals with no problem.

the official word.. this is the speil i use at work verbatim....

resort casual. No swimsuits, no tank tops (for men). Preferred collared shirt. (polo style) shorts are fine. You can dress up if you'd like.

Shorts are fine--as are T' shirts, which is what I always wear to Narcoosee's.

Oh how I wish Disney would STOP using this "Business casual" stuff if they have no intention of enforcing it!! They make so many people "dress up" who really don't want to--or have to!!

It was really chilly when I went to Narcoosee's, so I wore a sweater and a pair of jeans. Hubby wore something similar.

Thanks, all! Perhaps I'll bring a slightly more 'dressy' set of clothes for us, stash them in a locker at MK, and do a quick change before heading over. I'm not going to stress over it, though. We don't usually wear our swimsuits to the parks anyway-we have very Irish skin-so probably whatever we have on at the time will be fine.

Lindsay-thanks for the suggestion of a light sweater. We're heading down in August, so you know the A/C will be blasting!

Well it was early Feb. when I went. I wouldn't suggestion one in August for certain LOL
