Narcoossees dress code?

WE were at Disney May 10-May 17 and dined at Calif Grill, Narcoossee's, Citricos, and Yachtsman Steahouse. Most women had on flip flops of some sort. I mean almost all of them. Many women had on simple cotton tee-shirts or tank tops. Some had cotten shorts as well. Most men had on golf shirts. Many men had cargo shorts-I really don't think anything is wrong with that at all. Cargo shorts look nice on men. Not many men had pants on, but it was very hot while we were there. I saw men at every place in cotton tee-shirts. Finally, almost EVERY man had on sneakers or Teva-typa sandals. We saw lots of kids at every place also (including mine;) ) and our dinner times were fairly late at a couple of them (7:45, 8:30). Only at Citricos did I see a child crying though. The mother just picked her up and left. As soon as she did the guy ordered another drink. I think it was scotch. :lmao:

I make a distinction between flip flops (pool wear) and thong sandals (I have several and I'd wear them to signature restaurants).

I draw the line at eating where not many men have pants on.:lmao:

DH and I ate at Artist Point last October, and we saw a few families and couples wearing jeans, shorts, shoes, sandels, t-shirts and even Disney sweatshirts. We also ate at Flying Fish and I saw the same type of attire.

I think the dress code is meant to discourage torn clothes, and swim suit attire.

I personally don't get offended either way. If the restaurant staff deems someone to be wearing offensive attire, then I'm sure that guest will be turned away. But it's not something I concern myself with. We're just on vacation to eat great food and have a wonderful time!

I've never seen a duck in pants, no matter what his name was.
