Are there any restrictions? Is the Surf and Turf included on the dining plan? Haven't been to Narcoossees for many, many years, and we are considering it for our next trip.

Yes the Surf & Turf is included in the DDP. It's a 2 TS credit place. Really looking forward to it on our next trip.

I thought the Surf&Turf would be included, considering you are using 2TS credits for it. Thanks again for the info.:goodvibes

We were there on the DDP in Jan and ate there twice. We had lobster no problem. Plus there was a huge shrimp appetizer and great mussels. It was my favorite dinner - yum. What could be better than lobster and watching the fireworks and the electric water parade?

we ate there twice in september (free dining) - crabcakes, lobster and the most incredible almond crusted cheesecake!!!

What time should one make ressies to see the fireworks and the electric water parade?

I'm convinced, too - I'll be canceling my California Grill reservation for this because I trust the Narcoossee's fans :teeth:

I'd think 45 minutes to an hour before Wishes would be good?

And now, for the awkward question. I've never eaten lobster before. How, exactly, is it presented? Do I have to crack the tail myself? And then - no making fun of me, there's no such thing as a stupid question - cut the meat out using a knife & fork? Or is it proper and easy to eat the meat right from the tail?

Narcossee's does all the work. The lobster is served ready to eat, no shell to crack. It has a truly an amazing view of the lagoon. Great service.

Just my ,02, I would NOT cancel CA Grill for Narcoosees. We've had 2 terrible experiences with Narcoosee's and nothing but spectacular experiences with CA Grill. The "lobster" is tiny and nothing special. The service is awful, and the view is OK. Just my opinion

Thank you for the input, thelionqueen - but I already made the change :)
First, I realized I was eating at exactly ONE restaurant I hadn't tried before. Bo-ring. And while "tiny and nothing special" sounds like a negative, well, I'm not sure I'm going to like lobster in the first place. Yes, I have reached the ripe old age of ahem-ahem without ever eating lobster - and I've lived in New England my entire life. Go figure.
