Narcoossee's, an evening of muscles & tail in front of the boss.

We DID get to see the finale of Wishes, as the Boss dragged us outside.

Trust me...much nicer to watch Wishes WITHOUT the Boss....

Wishes....the Boss didn't get lost finding Narcoossee's...

Wishes.....the Boss had a Beefeater and tonic BEFORE arriving for dinner....

Wishes.....the Boss asked for a double and didn't complain that his drink needed more tonic....

Wishes....we didn't go to dinner with the Boss

Wishes....

Wishes .... I could have dined alone with Mister Disney and enjoyed the total experience.

Wishes .... we could have spent more time talking with Sam

Wishes .... I could have grabbed Mister Disney's hand, clicked my heels ditched the Boss ... oh wait ... that's Munchkinland, not Disneyland

Wishes .... well ... at least the Boss paid for it ! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I do not know this boss man you speak of, but I do not like him today. No pictures? The one review I have been chewing my fingernails waiting for and there are no pictures?!?! :scared1:

I would say to spank him, but the thought that he might enjoy it makes me say "no spanking for you!" he should be made to walk the plank, immediately!

Thanks for the verbal review though. It is probably better for my neverending diet to have no pictures anyway. Pictures just make me hungry!

that's the little cherry on top: the boss PAID FOR IT!! ;)

(you two owe it to yourselves now to go back there alone soon!!)

A week before the trip, the Boss tells me he'd like to dine at Narcoossee's again. I think to myself....:confused3 "You want me to arrange a reservation at a restaurant the week before one of the busiest seasons at Disney?:confused3 Of course, I tell him "NO PROBLEM", and quickly send a note off to our friend Mark, who is the manager over at Yachtsman Steakhouse to see if he can arrange a table for us through his wife Cindy.

As you will recall, we found out that Cindy has moved from Narcoossee's over to Citricos.

Well, Mark writes back that he's been able to arrange a table for us even though Cindy is no longer there.

After I breathe a sigh of relief .....I go into my Boss' office and said "All set, party of 4 at Narcoossee's at 7:30....and we'll finish just in time for the fireworks!"

Sheesh! Nothing like putting the impossible in your hands! Hey, you have connections. Do you think you can get my friends and me into Club 33 in a couple of weeks? :rotfl2: No? Didn't think so. ;)

So.....more information....the Boss, how shall we say....is NOT geographically inclined, so I made arrangements for his rental car to have a GPS unit on it.

Guess what? After the first day, the GPS unit craps out and the only thing to do it to keep the car or return it to the airport to exchange it.

The Boss decides to "survive" withOUT the GPS, BUT will I!??!?

The K-Man and I arrive at the Red Roof Inn at about 7pm for our 7:30 ressie and decide to sit in the lobby till about 7:20p while we await the Boss and his wife's arrival.

I never found the drive to WDW from the airport to be that difficult, and I would have thought trained monkeys could follow the pretty purple signs while within WDW property.

Sweating with ANTICIPATION ... we stood outside the Red Roof Inn. Poor Mister Disney, knowing all of his bosses' idiosyncracies ... and me ... worried how my hair looked ...
No pictures ... but are you sensing our STRESS?

Hair? Uh, what hair would that be, Kevin? The facial fuzz you are sportin'? Because I don't see any hair on top of that head, doll. ;)

OK....cocktail hour is over....

Where were we?

The Red Roof Inn, 1920 hours, heading outside to meet the Boss.

One Ringy dingy, two ringy dingys.....my cell phone goes off.....with the dreaded caller id of "THE BOSS"

I accept the call to hear expletives on the other end of the phone.....

The Boss, was LOST!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

After I give him very explicit directions, 20 minutes later he shows up.

Apparently trained monkeys and/or your boss cannot find their way within Disney property.

If you ever get over to the Red Roof Inn, and you see Richard, make SURE you ask to see inside his hat!

He's got a special surprise in there!

He's so cute, but I'd feel like I'd be betraying Art at the Beach Club by cozying up to another cute greeter man!

So as we are purusing the menu, the Boss' Wife and i reminisce about the first time I had Mussels with her, not to be confused with MUSCLES
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It was a long time ago, on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. NO commentary from the peanut gallery about Queen please....:lmao:

As we're discussing this ....the Boss tells everyone don't worry about what you want to order, "I am paying".

Queen...must stifle myself....ok. Ahem. Now hold the phone, here. Your boss went to Parking Siberia because he was too cheap to valet park, yet he's footing the bill for dinner? Well, I wonder if he expensed it all. I would think he could have expensed the valet parking, too. But still, it just seems odd he'd quibble over the valet cost!

No pics of the food? :(

If you read post 20 on page 2 of this thread, it explains the lack of photos

Poor Cass. She was the first of many who didn't pay attention in Professor Von Drake's class. :teacher: :lmao:

The food sounded wonderful, and the company....hmmm. I do sympathize with you. First CiCi's, then the Boss. It's no wonder you want to ditch them ASAP.

Mister Disney & Mr K man, are you all a couple. As in married?
:goodvibes

Alas, here in Connecticut people of our "demographics" can't be "married" we could be "unionized" though....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

we're neither "unionized" or "married" we prefer to be

living in "sin"

ssshhhh...don't tell anyone ok? That is a secret between you and us!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We do have "matching rings" though.....although we do choose to take them "off" if we go out to eat!

Then there are the rings that NEVER come out!

We have our own version of "the boss". For the past couple years, the Boss has sent my coworker & her family to meet us at WDW with "the credit card". Poor substitute for visiting with the Boss himself, but I guess the credit card will have to do  . Ummmmm...:woohoo: Mine is not a Narcoossee's boss, though. More like a "do you want fries with that" kinda guy... Oops, was supposed to be using my inside voice....
Thanks for the delectable, mouth watering description of the surf & turf!

I was waiting for more reviews from you all! I thought mabye CiCis had ruined you!;)
Can't wait to hear about the Boss-less Yachtsman B-day dinner!:)

OMG!!!! This review sounds awesome (except for the company)!! SOOOOO hungry for surf and turf. I have ressies for Narcoosee's in August can't wait to try it!! Love the review.:yay:

Sooooo...
If we are doing Citrico's and Flying Fish should we complete our dining trifecta with Yachtsman or Narcoosee's? I think we're ditching Le Cellier. :rolleyes1

Hi,

I am newbie. Thanks for your review on Narcoossee's. My DH and I have reservations for our anniversary at V&A next Thursday and 8:20 ressies at Narcoossee's on Friday after our day in Epcot. I love Grand Marnier and had the flight at Boardwalk years ago. Should we not bother asking for window seats being that your view was blocked anyway?

Citricos gives you the Mediterranean flavors, and Flying Fish gives you awesome fish choices....

If you are ditching LeCellier....

Hands down....Yachtsman....it will round out the dining options with a BEEF evening......

Narcoossee's is good, but heavy on fish....and since you are going to Flying Fish....I think you'll have those flavors.

Request a window seat....you will be able to see some of the fireworks and possibly the water parade....even if it is obstructed.

If you are enjoying the company you are with....everything else is secondary!:lovestruc
