We have visited Disney on several occasions over the past 15 years and ate in quite a few of their restaurants but I have to say that our all time favorite as of late is none other than Narcoossee's. We absolutely fell in love with Narcoossee's in the past year. We went there about 4 years ago and did not enjoy it at all. We vowed to never return but we recently heard from another chef on property that there was a new chef there. So a few months ago we gave it another try. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. The menu and selection is fabulous. The wait was a little long but it was worth it. We loved it so much that we went there on Mothers day weekend (actually Saturday before)with my mother in law and we had a wonderful time. We do find it to be a little bit on the noisy side but the food is excellent and the menu supberb. On our last visit we had the thrill of the new chef stopping by our table. He was very nice and passionate about Narcoossees. We had to commend him on the job and how wonderful our meal was. we vowed to return often and plan on taking our friends from Mass. there when they arrive. The Lobster Crab cakes were heavenly and the Red Snapper had a great Salsa on it that is to die for. We loved speaking to the chef and he explained how he is constantly updating the menu with fresh and seasonal ingredients. He seemed to be very excited about the whole place and him being there. I would highly reccommend Narcoossee's to everyone. @ things though, we are returning in a couple of weeks and we were hoping maybe someone knew the name of the new chef. we wanted to go in there and remember who he was by name???Anyone know??Also what did anyone else think of NArcoossee's on a recent visit..we like to see if we are alone with our praise or not??

Sounds as though you had a fab time here!

I dined at Narcoossee's about a year ago, and had a fantastic meal. I am hoping to return again soon. The seafood was fresh and delicious, the service was incredible!

I'm glad you had a great meal. I don't know the name of the chef, but hopefully someone else will know it. If not, you can always call the restaurant and ask. :)

I'll get back to you with it tomorrow--slipping my mind right now, but his best friend is a friend of mine.

Thanks to all who advised me. I did call the restaurant and found out the chefs name is actually Chef T.J. Peck. He has been there since September 2002. It isn't Steve, But TJ> Thanks to all...I can't wait to go back in 1 week....

OMG!! You are so right! Rather than calling my friend, I looked at a note I had scribbled on a piece of paper and it had "Steve Narcooses" written on it...Steve is the name of one of the servers who is very good at Narcooses, but yes, TJ is the chef. So sorry for giving you the wrong info.

Thanks for the great review, it sounds like you had a great time. I think Uncleromulus had a review of Narcoossee's just recently, so you might want to look for it. We are planing on eating here and at Citroes on our upcoming visit, we have never tried either one.

Ron--You will love both!

They are very different, Citrico's is more "elegant" for lack of a better adjective, but both offer incredible food and service.
