Haven’t been to Narcoossee’s since 2011 and have never been to citricos, which would you recommend? I would probably get the strip steak at narcoossee’s or the filet at citricos. We are already doing yachtsman later on in the trip but I need one more dinner at GF for that portion of the trip and would like to stick to one of these two.

I've never done Citricos, but have done Narcoosees so I can't compare the meals. I will say for Narcoosee's, if you book your dinner around fireworks time, the restaurant has a great location for it. They have a deck surrounding the restaurant and only people eating there can go on during the show. They also pump the music on the deck and the inside the restaurant. It's a nice perk for eating there.

We've done both within the past year. Both are good and you will be happy no matter which you pick. Narcoossee has a bit more relaxed atmosphere than Citrico and has the advantage of being able to see the fireworks if the timing is right.

We've been to both, but not since both reopened. In the past I was not impressed with Citricos. Last fall, we dined there after the reimagining. The decor is nice, the food was very good. We plan to go back. We dined at Narcoossee before the reimagining. Our meal was also very good. The atmosphere is more relaxed. As others noted, if you time it right, you can watch the fireworks and the Water pageant. I think you will be happy with either choice.

We have been to both since their remodels. The food was excellent at both. Our server at Citrico’s was a lovely, friendly, chatty older woman. She was probably the sweetest server we’ve had. Unfortunately, that meant she was chatty at every table, while other tables waited for her to get back to them. We ended up waiting quite awhile for drink refills & our bill.

Our servers at Narcoosee’s have also been excellent, friendly & efficient. The atmosphere is different IMO. It’s very modern looking but can get quite loud because of all the hard surfaces. I loved the look of Citrico’s better tho. My husband got the filet at both & thought they were equally good. I had short ribs at Citrico’s but I can get that at other restaurants. We’ve been back to Narcoosee’s more because I just love the scallops & gnocchi entree that I can only get there.

Citricos was more fancy to me and had better service then narcoosee. Narcoosee was more relaxed. Either way the food was pretty good at both but I’d go to Citricos again before Narcoosee. Fireworks are pretty nice from Narcoosee though if you want to see them with dinner

I’ve eaten at both restaurants but am not really a fan of either, at least, in past incarnations. Narcoossee’s disappointed me two different times while serving fish. Once was over cooked salmon and I don’t recall the other dish but by the time the waitress came to check the rest of the table was almost finished so I said nothing and just put the eatery in the don’t bother category. I appreciated the restaurant more when they served brunch.

Wasn’t crazy about the atmosphere or decor at Citricos. The food was nothing to rave about but nothing to be saddened about either. I hear the restaurant has recently been renovated so hopefully it will change my overall impression.

We have eaten at both multiple times since remodels/reopenings post-Covid. Food and service are excellent at both. The atmosphere at either works for us, with Citricos being somewhat quieter of the two. I usually get a seafood entree at either location while DW has one of the steaks.

I would choose Narcoosee's - we really preferred the food and atmosphere there. The view at fireworks time is spectacular. We've eaten at Citrico's twice since it re-opened - our first visit was great, but our last visit in March was really mediocre. Service was slow and the food was not great.

That's sad. We visited Citrico's pretty soon after it reopened and it was incredible. I remember that the duck appetizer (which has been replaced by a different duck dish) was one of the best things I'd had in a Disney restaurant.
