Narcoosees... :(

OK, I've never, ever had an issue booking Narcoosees. When I say never, I mean NEVER.

I tried getting an open spot for 9 people from Aug 30 thru Sept 5 and every single night is completely booked! I would have taken 10pm if they offered it, but nothing!

The weird thing is I got Le Cellier with no problem, but Narcoosees? That's a first for me...oh well

Any idea why?

Call and see if they have a 2 tables for 4 people? I think the number 9 must not be able to be booked???

thanks...but we've been a party of nine in the past and have never had an issue, I'll definitely call back again.

Its just really puzzling to me, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had an issue. Its definitely making me go "hmmm?".


p.s. sorry about the blackhawks, my DH and I were rooting for them and the penguins...so far it looks like the Red Wings will take the prize once again.ugh

Well if I were you and I really really wanted to go some where. I'd be there at least a 1/2 hr before they opened to be the first one there. I bet u get in then. Good luck with Narcoossee's and have a Magical Trip

Love Narcoosees, but if it doesn't work out, try Citricos--the food is amazing.

Good luck! (I agree with the calling back option--it's probably the 9 that's causing the problem...)

I am having the same problem booking a table for 5 at California Grill. I called the very 1st day I could (trip is not during Free Dining) and no luck for our entire trip. The only thing that pops up is a split reservation for 3/2 at separate table. Um, no thanks. When I switched it to 6 people... Bingo! No problem. Computer glitch!

FYI, I called for the fourth time since Saturday and today was the first time that a CM told me: "I'm sorry I can't book a party of 8 or more, you'll have to call the restaurant directly."

Now you see, this is what I did last year, but the first CM that I spoke with through the regular Dining # told me that with the new system it didn't matter, they could book it if there was availability. OY VEY!

Thanks for suggesting Citricos, I'm going to looking for some food pics to see if my family is interested in using this as back-up!

I'm going through the same thing today.

I did call the restaurant directly, but got a message asking me for details and they would call me back. I hope so!

FYI - The message said that for parties of 9-12, they can only take reservations for 5:30pm and 6pm. That's OK with me, so I hope we can get a table.

Yes...we are a party of 9 dining at Narcoosee's on August 27th. I had to call the restaurant directly and I had to leave a message. I called back in the afternoon and a person answered the phone. They only book large parties between 5:30 and 6:00 each night. Fine with me....I had the ressie all arranged in about 5 minutes. Good luck and I hope that you can get a time!!

The problem is its free dining and though it is 2TS credits, it has lobster on the menu..

No...it was between 1.30 and 2.00p.m. The staff arrive a few hours before to set up for the evening. I was actually surprised when someone answered because I was prepared to just leave another message!!!

Guys, thanks so much for your help yesterday!

So I called and called (even my sister called) until we got a hold of an awesome CM named Vicki! She was working alone at the restaurant and super swamped but still managed to call us back and get us a ressie!!

We didn't get the exact date but it doesn't matter, as long as we have something, right?

Moral of the story for me: Stick with what you know (and the DISboards) because not all CM's are as well informed as others unfortunately.

The girl who makes reservations on a regular basis is back today so anyone that would like to make a res for Narcoosees can this afternoon if they call the restaurant directly, that is, if your party is 8 people or more.
