im thinking about an ADR for Narcoosees, is it any good, any recommendations

Yes yes yes!

Can make an argument for best WDW restauant, for sure.

For me, it's between California Grill and Narcoossee, but Narcoossee has a more seafood tilt to it.

I had filet and lobster when I went (Free DDP! WOO HOO!), and it was terrific. And the almond crusted cheesecake is legendary!

We really enjoy Narcoossee's; the filet is wonderful. But, I have to say, we enjoyed Citricos a bit more than even Narcoossee's!

:-)

For us, after many many WDW meals, Narcoosees is one of our least favorite signatures. We think the fish/seafood at bluezoo and Flying Fish is much better. Narcoosees has a great view though and its proximity to MK keeps it popular.

Excatly how I feel. It's good enough, but there are better Signature dining spots.

We just ate there last week and loved it! The food was absolutely wonderful and our view was fantastic. We had a window table looking out over the water with a fantastic view of the castle. Our server was exceptionally good and it was by far our favorite meal of the week. I agree about the almond crusted cheesecake - it was to die for!

What they said! :lmao:

Honestly, Narcoosee's is a signature restaurant that we have no interest in returning to - the seafood is so much better at Flying Fish and Bluezoo. The view and setting lend Narcoossee's a lovely atmosphere but the food was nothing special in our opinion.

Narcossees is one of our "must do" restaurants. We were not fond of Jiko, but maybe caught them on a bad night. We also adore Shula's, but it's not on the DDP. Have also had great meals at Flying Fish and Yachtsman.
I have heard great things about Citricos and am looking forward to trying it on our next trip in Oct.

DH & I went there last summer & we were SO excited about having a "date night" away from the kiddos. I had the surf & turf, & I can't remember what DH had. My lobster was a bit overcooked. :headache: We had a "2nd row" 2-seater table (meaning there was one table between us & the window.) If I remember correctly, the tables were basically stacked right on top of each other!

It wasn't at all romantic to us. It was very noisy & there were even numerous tables with people in their tank tops & shorts (they looked to have just come from the pool!) Don't get me wrong--we are VERY casual people, but when we used 2TS credits & read that we needed to kind of dress up, it made the atmosphere less romantic for our ONE date night. :sad1: I should add: the almond crusted cheesecake is absolutely wonderful!!!!! :lovestruc
