Narcoosees: What's good?

I decided to surprise my parents by taking them out to dinner at Narcoosees during our trip. This is a restaurant they would NEVER spend the $$ on, but I know would love.

What do you recommend ordering there?

How are the scallops?

Is the Surf & Turf big enough for two people to split?

Any food pics?

Wine suggestions?

What time would you recommend having dinner? Do they pipe in the music for Wishes & can you see it from the restaurant?

DH and I eat there a lot.

For some reason we always end up ordering the same thing.

I order the seafood bisque, lobster, and the almond crusted cheesecake.

DH orders the crab cakes, surf and turf and espresso.

Everything is WONDERFUL!

Robyn-- Do you they always have the almond crusted cheesecake on the menu? I keep seeing that dessert being mentioned. Eating there Monday night.. want to try it!!

DH still talks about the Maine lobster he got there. He was very impressed with Narcoossee's and said he wants to eat there again at our upcoming trip. (And he isn't one to be impressed) I had the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection. Be sure to check out the dessert tray. It's a work of art!
