Narcoosee's Reopening?

Planning VGF trip in mid February with wife and 5 yo son. Want to celebrate our anniversary at Narcoosee's. Any information out there? Thank you. Any alternatives to suggest?

Haven't seen any information on a reopening date for Narcoossee's as of yet. If you are looking for seafood I would recommend Flying Fish at Boardwalk.

Thank you for your suggestions but since staying at VGF I was hoping for an alternative either in MK or around MK monorail resorts. Not limited to fish but hoping for views and special evening.

California Grill in the Contemporary. The view overlooking the Magic Kingdom can be wonderful. Let them know you are celebrating a special occasion and if you don't get a reservation around fireworks time, they let you come back later on and watch.

I'd suggest Citrico at the GF. Convenient and very good food/service.

Can't go wrong with either California Grill at the Contemporary or with Citricos at the Grand Floridian. California Grill is doing a special prix fixe menu.

Also recommending Citricos, haven't had a bad meal since they reopened. Also wondering when Narcoosee's will reopen... Haven't heard much.

Thanks to all of you for your kind suggestions. My only concern with Citricos or Contemporary Grill is whether it may be too upscale our 5 yo son. However, since staying at VGF, it might be the best choice. Thank you.

Until they went to the fixed price menu, we ate at the Cali Grille at some point during each trip. There were always a bazillion children there, so unless your little guy needs room to run around, he will probably have lots of company!

I eat at both with frequency... always many kids there so I wouldn't think twice about it. Citricos in particular has a great kids menu, IMO.

Yes, these are 'nicer' places with a 'dress code', etc, but you see guests of all kinds/ages/occasions... just in from the parks, decked out for date night, exhausted kids with their face in an ipad and parents just glad to sit down for awhile,, young, old, and everything in between, etc. I wouldn't take a little one if they flat out can't sit still for a sit down dinner and would bother others, but if that's not a concern then I say enjoy!

Grain of salt of course but last month a Citricos server (who was relocated from Narcoossee's) told me they have heard "well into 2023." Not that that means much, but FYI.

I just went by there the other day and they are replacing the roof, there are still walls up around the building and the windows are covered on the water side, so you can't really see what all is up - but still a pretty active construction site from a layman's perspective.

Considering how long it takes Disney to get things done, I wouldn't be surprised.
