We did both restaurants, it would be hard to say which one I liked better because I went to each for different reasons.
Narcoossee's
DH got the surf and turf which he really liked. The steak was cooked perfectly, I thought it was a little over peppered, but he really liked everything. The surf part of it was a good size and very well prepared. I got the "whole" Maine Lobster. If you like the claws and tail only, they prepare it this way, if you want the whole thing tell them you want the whole lobster, otherwise you'll be missing the middle.
For appetizers we got the calamari which was excellent! Definitely prepared perfectly with a terrific breading. We also got the cheese platter, it was interesting but if you like cheeses, go for it. DH and I got the almond crusted cheesecake and it was devine! Definitely one of the best desserts I've had in a long time!
Yachtsman Steakhouse
If you want a good steak you can choose this place for 2TS or Le Cellier for 1TS, the steak quality you receive are very similar, so if you want to save a TS definitely keep Le Cellier in mind. However, their seafood salad was excellent! I really want their recipe for their dressing. We also had their fois gras, extremely decadent and I highly recommend it! I don't recommend the diver scallops because you only receive two and for that much money I don't think it is worth it.
The steaks were terrific, perfectly cooked each time. Excellently seasoned. Their desserts were great as well!
If you want surf and turf, go with Narcoossee's you won't be disappointed, if you just want a good steakhouse, consider Le Cellier and Yachtsman.
