Narcoosee's Name?

Does anyone know what the significance of the name Narcoosee's is? It is so unusual, and I wonder about it every time I see it. It seems like there must be a significance behind it, it's too odd a name to just have come off the top of someone's head. Any info would be appreciated!

The restaurant is named after a town in the Kissimmee area.

I remember when we first started going to WDW, it was called Narcoosee Nicks...but somewhere along the way it was dropped, I have no idea when or why, but just remember this name, could be because my son is NICK!

I love eating there, the food was very good.
