We will be dining at Narcoosee's while at Disney and was just wondering if anyone knew what the dress code was, especially for men and boys? Can they wear jeans? Thank you in advance!

We were just there this past Oct. and yes...some folks were wearing jeans. As long as they were reg. pants/jeans and not cut off shorts. Other men were wearing Dockers style pants. Some even dress up more...they were dress slacks with a dinner jacket.

My husband wore Dockers and a long sleeve button up shirt and he fit in just fine.

P.S. The whole maine lobster and the almond cheese cake...was so good!!!!!

According to the Passporters Guide to WDW Narcoosse is a business casual restaurant. It goes on to explain that men should wear dress slacks, jeans, trousers, dress shorts, collared shirts and/or t-shirts and jackets are optional. Women should wear skirts, jeans, dress shorts, dresses, blouses, sweaters c and/or t-shirts.
Business casual restaurants prohibit hats, swimsuits, swim coverups, tank tops, torn clothing or flip flops.

When we went to Narcoossee DH wear a short sleeve golf shirt, dress shorts and Tevas. I wore a sundress and my Keen maryjanes.

To reiterate-jeans are perfectly acceptable.
And to add that I haven't seen anyone in a dinner jacket at a Disney restaurant (except V&A) in years.

Well, when we were there this past Oct. Several of the men and boys wore dinner jackets. We even noticed a family of 12 come in and all the men and boys in that group had on dinner jacket...they would have not stood out if it was not the fact...that the dad was very upset that he had a "reservation" time of 8:00 p.m. and why did he have to wait at all?

So instead he said, really loud..."We are in the GF "suite" right next door :worship: ...here is my "suite" number...call me in my "suite" when my table is ready." Then the family left. And sure enough...about 15 minutes later...they came back once they got that "suite" call.

We wore jeans last week. :)

I must add that this meal was our favorite. It was just THAT good. DH and I agreed that we thought the food and service was better than California Grill.

And that almond cheesecake is TDF!!!!

I hope dressing up doesn't stand out too much. For our upcoming dinner at Narcoosee's I decided it would be a dress up day for us. My DD's will be wearing holiday dresses and DS will have on a nice suit. I still haven't decided what I'm gonna wear, but I just thought it would be a nice experience. I also wanted to see my kids act all primm and proper because they were wearing nice clothes. :goodvibes (am I using the word "nice" too much?)

Of course, DH said he was rebelling and would be wearing ripped up jeans and a holey t-shirt. :lmao:

We were all dressed up back in April it was our 25th it was a very nice experience and fun to dressed for a change. :thumbsup2
But a lot of people aren't dressed up they are casual which is fine if that works for them.
Have fun!
