I am looking for a nice restaurant (already doing Cali Grill) on the trip. Any advice on which of these two are better?

Narcoosse's is much better, hands down. You can't go wrong with it. The atmosphere and service are impeccable. The food is outstanding! Try the filet and get the mussels as the appetizer. I don't even *LIKE* mussels and thought they were excellent!

Thanks for asking the question. I am debating this also. I have an ADR for Flying Fish but am thinking about switching to Narcoosee. I've eaten at FF before and have no complaints. I just want to try something else.

We have eaten at FF several times. The food is good, but we've had some bad seating experiences there. This last trip, we were kept waiting about 20 min. to be seated...not so bad, but many people who came after us were seated before us. It was explained that even if you are late for your ADR, you will be seated before a party who is on time for their "later" adr. Annoying, especially because we are always on time and disney dining tells you to arrive early for your seating. Then the "manager" insisted on trying to squeeze a party of 20 or more into a series of tables behinds us. First, we sat thru massive table/chair movement around us & I'm no expert, but I could have told you the set-up wouldn't work just by looking at it. Then the party, understandably refused the seating, but then stood fuming around our table, while the staff, again moved tables/chairs to re-seat them. We'll probably skip FF for our next trip.
On the other hand, we tried Narcossee (Co-ordinated with the fireworks) for the first time in a while. The meal was excellent, the seating/atmosphere was great. The only problem was the valet parking for GF, which covertly charged us ($10 charge placed on our bill without requesting payment from us) despite the fact that I presented a Disney Dining Experience card, which entitled us to free valet. This was adjusted at our resort at check-out. The valet also "lost" our window parking pass, which had to be replaced. The valet parking is the hotel's problem, not the restaurant's problem, but I offer it for your consideration.

A dissenting opinion...we've been to both several times and I would choose FF. Narcoosse's is the least of all Disney's signature restaurants IMHO. If you are looking for something at the GF I would go with Citricos..

I went to Narcoossees last September & everything was delicious! We're trying Flying Fish this trip & making a repeat visit to Narcoossees.
