Narcocees or California grill brunch

Narcocees or California grill brunch......we have never done either and can only pick one. We dont eat sushi, help!!!!! times running out.. any advice?

If you don't eat sushi, Id probably pick Narcoossee's then. Ive seen great reviews on both. I think they both have bottomless mimosas...so cant really go wrong...lol

california grille lets you go back at night to watch the fireworks and they also have a small open buffet where narcocees doesnt, ugh such decisions lol cant get enough info on these 2

I haven't seen the new fireworks show yet, but my understanding is that its projection based and you wouldn't be able to see that from the observation deck anyway. You can still watch the fireworks from the beach at Poly later that night if you wanted. The view from contemporary, while nice, is off center. Is one more expensive that the other? Im being too lazy to look up.

Did Narcosse's last year cause I don't do fish so no sushi for me. It was wonderful. It is a bit cheaper than CG too. I would do this again in a NY minute. They have changed the menu slightly since we did it last year but not enough to shy me away again. Plus it is all you care to eat. For instance, they had steak & eggs on the menu and a lobster dish. DH got the steak with a side of lobster instead of the eggs so there is a bit of play on what you can get too. The pastries were standard Disney (meh) so we really didn't waste precious stomach room on them. LOL It does take a bit of time as it's a very relaxed event and not a rushed meal.

Narcoosee's brunch is apparently not available in March. Now I am sad.

Done both brunches. Preferred California Grill by a small margin. The buffet was utterly fantastic, even if you don't like sushi. Entrees were similar in quality (especially for me, since I got lobster eggs Benedict at both!). Desserts were the relative weak spot for both, but I liked the nibbleability (made up word alert) of the CG cookies and truffles.

You can't go wrong with either.

We did California Grill and STK Brunches in May we preferred STK and have it slated again next May. Haven't done Narcoosee's for any meal.

Can anyone that's been to CA Grill brunch recently tell me if there is more than one type of pancake on the menu? The online menu shows only blueberry pancakes, but I saw a menu from someone who visited in July and the menu also listed carrot cake pancakes with cream cheese cream, pecans and syrup. Not a huge pancake fan but that sounds pretty awesome, and I know the wife would like to try that.

We love Narcoossee's brunch, and would definitely recommend it. The staff is great, and all of the food choices were amazing.

If I remember correctly there was a vanilla pancake on the menu but no carrot cake one. I could be mistaken tho

We're doing both during our January trip, but we had to adjust our dates bc Narcoosee's was available for 1/21, but not for 1/28. According to the website 1/21 is the last Sunday they're doing the brunch there. :/

When we went to Cali Grill they told us the pancakes change seasonally.
