we are taking my grand daughter in December she is 2 1/2 I know if I get in the bus with her she will fall aslep and wake back up if u get off bus. I was also wondering if I can just stay on bus and let her sleep? Is this possible on any other Disney transportation (skylines or monorail) TIA

This is possible on the monorail. It is not possible on the Skyliner and I don’t think it’s an option on a bus either but I’m not 100% sure about that.

In the MK you can stay on the Railroad and save leaving the park.

We took our daughter last year when she was 2.5, I thought she might fall asleep (especially when we took her to a party) but she never did. She found the bus rides super exciting since they were new to her and she could see everything we could. Her favorite thing was looking for other buses to see what character they were. So maybe play a game to see who can spot the buses to try and keep her awake long enough to get were you need to go?

-I just realized you might be looking for places for her to take naps. If so, our only success with that was going back to the resort room. We got one stroller nap in but with that, I just took off shoes, put down the shade, reclined the seat and we walked until she fell asleep. 😅

My two oldest would always sleep in their strollers at some point during the day. I have great memories of my oldest falling asleep in her stroller and walking around Epcot with a glass of wine relaxing and doing window shopping. All kids are different though, so I get to see this next time if our youngest will respond the same way as the older ones. If you do plan to try to do that make sure you have a stroller that works well for your kid to sleep in (where they can lay back and really sleep in it), that won't work in a tiny umbrella stroller as well.

You could ask the driver. They might not be going straight to somewhere else so you’d need to get off then. Also know you can’t have a stroller open on a bus so that might make a nap harder

We did this 20+ years ago with my kids and at least then it was an option on the bus - with the caveat that you might not end up where you want. Buses will change routes - dropping off at say AKL and then not going back to the MK, but changing their sign to Not in Service, driving around the parking lot, and showing back up at the AK parking lot ready to take people to the Studios. Ask the bus driver - he may not know where he'll get dispatched to, but he or she will know how long they will be driving before they stop.
