naples/Ft Myers

visiting Orlando for 10 days which I have a complete itinerary for. After this we are going to Naples/ Ft. Myers (Lovers Key resort) area for 7 days. Dw would like to lie on the beach for the week but having a 3 yr old dd we need some stimulation for her. Any advice and ideas greatly appreciated for this area of Florida. Plus, has anyone been to Lovers Key resort? any good?

Sorry I can't help you much, only that I know Lover's Key beach was destroyed by a storm a long while ago, and they've only just got the money to put it right recently. I think April/ May this year. But my main concern is, I will be getting Married there, weather permitting, at Christmas. We may use the Wedding Pavillion if it's available.
