Naparte Rose or Steakhouse 55

On may next trip to DLR I will be celebrating my birthday. I will be traveling with my mother and my 6yr old daughter.

I can't decide where I want to have my birthday dinner. I have never been to either restaurant so I am in a quandary.

Any suggestions.

We also enjoy Napa Rose. Ask for server Rodney or Wendy. They are both great. Also get to meet Victor if you go to the Rose. He is always friendly with our family. The food is great and the service is even better.

I've been once to each and I preferred Napa Rose by far. SH55 was good, but it wasn't so memorable. It's more like a typical nice restaurant. Napa Rose has a lot more interesting kinds of food which I wouldn't normally try, and all of it was delicious. We did the chef's counter which I recommend, but with a 6yo I would go for the regular dining room. The chef's counter might be too adventurous for a small child and it would be too much food. They used to let you sit at the counter and order off the regular menu if you want, but I heard that's not allowed anymore, but you could call and ask.

Napa Rose always has my vote but with a 6 year old I would check out the menus and see which one appeals more b

Steak House 55 is great but Napa Rose is divine. The meal I had at Napa Rose was probably the best meal I have had in my life.

I would go all out and eat adventurously at Napa Rose! The kids menu looks fantastic with several good choices, even for a picky eater. And the adult menu....! Sooooo many interesting options!

Check out the menus before you decide. Everyone has different tastes!

Napa Rose is more of a "foodie" restaurant where Stakehouse 55 is more traditional main course with sides type place...both are great and nice places.

Look at the menus and see which would appeal to your tastes.

I can tell ya I am typically a very simple eater and on the surface Steakhouse 55 would appeal to me more but I love Napa Rose.
