It was scheduled to be closed for 8 weeks, so plan on it being open by the beginning of October ((give or take).

How does it work with getting into GCH from DCA?

Are you able to use the special entrance to GCH to get to NR if you're not staying there?

Would be at park closing time.

Yes, just follow the sidewalk, turn right, will take you right to NR.

Same here, but I'm being foiled so far because the Napa Rose reservation system is currently broken. You can't find tables online (there's an error), so I called them yesterday and they confirmed that it is broken - even the reps on the phone can't find tables. They say they are working on it but I don't know when it will be fixed.

i ended up making the reservation online on friday and it worked fine!!

I made reservations last weekend with no problem for 10/4 by calling the dining number - and then changed them the other day for chef's counter by calling the restaurant direct as well. If dining reps can't make reservations for you when you call, just keep asking for a supervisor, eventually they will figure it out.

The reservation system is finally working again, we are having dinner at Napa Rose on Tuesday 11/4. I also decided to do a Storyteller's breakfast on Sunday 11/2.

You can ALWAYS use that exit from DCA. The only issue is the entrance to DCA from GCH. And that is only an issue in the morning when they only let Disney hotel guests in through that entrance.

If you eat breakfast at Story Tellers or White Water Snacks (it has to be more than just coffee) and present your receipt, they will allow you to use the CGH entrance.

perfect. i thought it would be the case, just wanted to confirm so we know we wont have to factor in any extra travel time between the two.

We're here now, and it turns out Napa Rose IS open. You can't make reservations via Disney Dining yet, but they're taking walk-ins and you can call the directly and leave a VM to make a res.

We ate in the lounge tonight and they were kind enough to let us order the special dessert off the Vintner's menu. SO GOOD!
