My husband and I are foodies and Napa Rose is not to be missed on our next trip. That being said we are traveling as a family, which we mostly do, we have 3 small kids who have eaten at other great restuarants. Will we be comfortable and accommodated at Napa Rose with them? I know theres a kids club but one of my children is to young for it and I can't find a good sitter recommendation. Thank you!

We ate there with our son when he was 7 years old and felt welcomed. I have frequently seen young children there (but not many). They do have a children's menu for kids 9 and under. It is an elegant restaurant, so if they are well-behaved, you will not have a problem. Regarding babysitting, I believe the hotel refers you to an outside agency who sends babysitters to the hotel. We have used them multiple times with great success. I hope that helps! You will truly enjoy Napa Rose.

Check my most recent trip report from this past October. We ditched the kids with an in-room sitter (specifics in the thread). I wouldn't take young children to Napa, and if they are too young for Pinocchio's, they are too young for Napa IMHO.

I have seen babies and young kids there. It all depends of the kid. If you have taken them successfully to other fine dining restaurants I wouldn't have any qualms about bringing them to Napa Rose.

Trying to serve the needs of a child while dining does not for a fun experience make.

We've taken my DD since she was 2-yrs old, but she's a pretty easy "restaurant kid". My cousin has a rambunctious son same age and she would never DREAM of taking him to NR. So it all depends on your child.

They definately don't frown upon kids, but if yours are potentially going to be loud/upset/have a meltdown I wouldn't take them for your own sanity sake :cutie:

There will be no issue with Napa Rose, but your young children will need to be able handle a 2 to 3 hour meal. Dining when the restaurant first opens (5:30) might be helpful, since you will have a better section of tables.

Another approach is to dine in the lounge, which offers the full menu. Reservations are not accepted for the lounge, so arrive early to select the best location. I recently had an excellent meal dining at the bar.
