Nano or Ipod touch??????

First trying to see where the best deal for these will be tomorrow? And - which should I go for (this will be for me - 32 yr. old mom!) Nano or touch? I wouldn't want to spend over $200. Thanks for any info!!

I'm not ignoring your $200 limit, but I just saw on Amazon the 2nd Generation Touch. It is a 16 GB, and it is $229. No shipping, no tax. I have both the touch and the Classic. If I had to pick one, I'd pick the Touch. It can do so much more.

At your price range you wouldn't be able to "afford" the 32. So, with the 8, yes, I believe they are very similar. I think the only difference is that the new ones have the ability to link with other ipods to play games. That is something as an adult I don't want.

You can but the software update for just $4.95 for the 2nd generation touch. I just bought 2 refurbished ipods from apple and plan to upload this.

Btw the 16gb was $199 and the 8gb $149. Apple's site is down right now preparing for their Black Friday sales.

I recommend the touch over the nano. New camera in nano is cool but the apps are a blast on touch. Apple site has best deal right now. Mamall.com is good as well, but would recommend buying Apple direct. If your unit goes bad, they wil re-engrave a replacement unit where other locations won't (I know cuz DD15's died on our last trip to WDW in Aug)

What is so great about this IPOD touch? LoL! I'm not a big electronic guru and I have no kids so I'm in the black a little. How much does it cost to download song (itunes?) and or movies, does anyone know.
