Nancy Grace

I love Nancy Grace, IMO she says everything that needs to be said. She has no fear & I especially like how she calls the defense attorneys out.
I do respect that she keeps so many stories alive (especially when a child is involved) that national news reports on once & moves on.

My DH on the other hand thinks she's a train wreck~

I can't stand her. I just don't like to watch rude people in action. There is a big difference, imo, between assertive and rude. I do watch her show sometimes, though, because she gives coverage to stories I'm interested in. She got a taste of her own medicine last night when someone on her show told her that she and her show were a joke.

I was first introduced to who she was last yr by my DBF. I loved her, thought she was great, full of grit.
Now, I can't stand to watch her. Although it's nice she is a child advocate, I think she drills the same thing into the ground night after night.....
Help someone else now instead of repeating the same story and same frustrations over and over again.

I like her. I just got done watching tonight and she is the only national cable network I know of following the coleman case which I am interested in. I used to watch Greta Van Sustern alot til she started drifting away from crime stories and more into politcs and the economy. Heck I watch fox not for politics but for high speed chases and crime cases. I have been watching less and less lately.

Some of the stuff NG says is over the top and rather dramatic but where else am I going to get the kind of news I want to hear about?

I used to occasionally watch her but I got sick of the same story night after night after night. First it was Scott Peterson, then Natalie Holloway, then Calee Anthony. Can she find different topics?

I am in partial agreement with you here.

I think she can very very rude, overbearing, and downright inappropriate (remember when she harassed Elizabeth Smart on the air??)....but I watch her show every night! I am very interested in crime cases so her show sucks me in.

I do respect that she keeps these stories alive though. I respect that she continued to let everyone know what a scumbag Joran Van Der Sloot is even though he never got officially arrested for Natalee Holloway's death. She made sure he did not get away with it, at least in the eyes of society.

I also really like how she pays tribute to a fallen military person every night.

I love her, I wish I could be as outspoken as she is, maybe I would be more help to others if I was. I don't think she is rude, I just think she expects to get to the truth and beating around the bush just isn't her style, she wants to get right to the point.

I know that the show is about the same subject night after night, but look at how many families she has helped, because of repeated stories, that the other news just sorta drops after a few nights. And she has been where some of these families and knows how it feels to be a victim of crime.

And look how the national media follows the same story night after night too. Swine flu is still going on, I keep hearing about Miss California, the politcal crap ad nauseum and I already know how much the economy sucks.

I appreciate the updates to cases that the other media has dropped. I miss court tv big time.

And I cant believe anyone would compare Rush to NG. That makes me I happen to agree with Rush more often then not but can't stand listening to him it just ticks me off about society, at least with Nancy Grace she is actually IMHO helping by keeping the pressure on in some of these cases. All Rush does is incite people to the verge of violence, at least for me.

That was me. When I'd hear Nancy Grace say, "Bombshell" I was tempted to throw something at the television. She reminded me of Kathy Lee Griffith talking about the "twins".
She incited me to violence and that is why I stopped watching.

I remember watching one of the Elizabeth Smart interviews where she kept prying into her abduction, and making backhanded comments about how she basically 'didn't try to run away, like an adult would have'. I truely wanted to smack her! Elizabeth was incredibly poised during that interview. I, on the other hand, would have had a few choice words for her off-air.

What about Glenn Beck?? I tend to agree with him but his show makes me want to hide out in an underground bunker. Bill O is way mild compared to that show.

I watch Nancy every night. My friends laugh at me because I'm always saying "Last night on Nancy...". I am however totally uncomfortable the whole time I'm watching because I do find her rude--to her own guests!! I have no idea why the keep agreeing to go on and be bashed niht after night! So I watch it for the stories not so much for Nancy.

I abhor Nancy Grace. IMO she says almost nothing that needs to be said. She has no respect for anyone she disagrees with and seems to revel in her ignorance and intolerance. She is often like a dog with a bone, perverting CNN's coverage into a distorted reflection of the reality of the world, favoring stories about the issues she's trying to make a name for herself by highlighting, and therefore undercutting coverage of other issues that are similar in nature and deserve coverage as well, but are left on the side of the road because it doesn't serve Nancy Grace's personal interests.

For those of you that watch is she talking about the Chris Coleman case? They just arrested the dad.

He strangled his 32yo wife and 2 sons, 9 and 11.

Looks like he was having an affair.

See that is why I watch her. It will be fully coverd tonight. I have foxnews on right now and they havent done a news alert for it. If I don't watch NG where else am I going to get in depth informatin from?? Greta used to be good buy now she spens her time in alaska sucking up to the palins (and i vote that way_ she has totaally lost me as an ardent bierwer.Nancy however rude she is at least has the stories I want to hear about.
