I'm crying reading about the MK surprise... I'm such a sap. Thanks for sharing your magical trip. One of the best things about Disney is sharing amazing times together, and I am sure this trip will be something you treasure and remember forever.

Guys! Nana's 81st birthday is June 14th! I need gift ideas!!!

I've been trying to think of something super super special to get her.

So far I got her 81 decaf coffee pods

A tea box that I will be stocking full of 81 decaf teas of various flavors

A willow tree (With my grandmother)

and I am going to bring her 81 Roses

I want just one more thing but on a more personal level. Please give me all your ideas!

* Set up a playlist of songs that were popular in 1931, when she was born
and in 1947, when she was 16

Your Nana is so lucky to have such a loving and caring family.
A pampered vacation like this will last a lifetime of memories. I hope she feels much better after leaving the hospital. It was a pleasure seeing all your photos. I so am anticipating our 8.25.12 NYC to Bahamas cruise too.

This is us at dinner on pirate night. I'd like to point out 2 things- first, Nana was REALLY into pirate night. When she found out about it a few weeks before the cruise, she went looking for pirate accessories. Second- that "pirate smile" on papa's face- he made that for both the "normal" picture and when the photographer said to be a pirate. We don't know what to make of it, ha!

Thank you for the birthday ideas! Keep them coming! I am scrapbooking all these pictures for an album for her, and ironically, I'm pretty sure I have 81 shots! I got 70 pictures from my camera and I purchased 11 on the boat! How weird and cool!

A show is a great idea, though I'm not sure she is up for another long trip Her legs are still somewhat swollen. We do have a local theatre that does shows, I'll see what they have. They did advertise Mary Poppins coming there for a week but I think that is in October.

I cried the whole time I read this trip report! I am so glad you all had a great trip. I thought of you everyday while you were gone! Happy Birthday a day early to Nana! I hope it is the most special one yet!
