How about we talk about when we get up in the morning and overnight Aunt Flo makes her visit and all that blood and discharge is there and you are afraid to get up from bed because we all know that gravity is going to take hold and it is going to be a mess.

It is disgusting and there isn't much you can do about it, because you have to get up and run to the toilet. The good thing though the initial first day isn't my heaviest so by the 2nd day when it feels like I lose two gallons of blood I am always prepared with a ton of tampons.


Oh, I have a question, What is the heaviest discharge you have ever had and how many tampons/pads did you use that day?

For me it is almost always the 2nd day of my period and there was one day where it seemed like I was changing my tampon like every 2 hours it was so heavy.

Oh gosh Em, I hate that! SOO annoying.
My period, before I lost it from chemo, was always 7-8 days long, first 4 days were always heavy heavy, and I was never irregular. Yeah, and I got it at 11. Lucky me.

I still haven't gotten my cycle back, it's officially been a year without Aunt Flo. BUT, I'm starting to get that "white sticky stuff" again. Boo!
